"A snow day literally and figuratively falls from the sky, unbidden, and seems like a thing of wonder." ~ Susan Orlean
Taylor Aguilar Scholarship Fund is going to be accepting applications
for grants/funding that we plan to make for the Summer of 2017. It is
intended for students with special needs in the Ridgewood or Glen Rock
community. A link to the Taylor Fund Facebook page, which contains
more information about the application process and goals of the Fund, as
well as a link to the actual application, is below.
basic idea is that we want to make one or more grants for the Summer of
2017 for students in the range of $3,000-10,000. The funds can be used
for summer programs, therapies, camps, or really anything, to help out
students with whatever their particular need is so they can have, quite
simply, a better summer.
KINDNESS DRIVE FOR APRIL: Next month we are collecting toothpaste/mouthwash for the Ridgewood Social Services Food Pantry. The collection ends on April 5th and I invite everyone to send in at least one item. Your children love putting their can in the bucket and getting a high five from me each month!
